I've been waiting to wear these over-the-knee boots from Tony Bianco which I got at the end of summer to prep for the cold season. But there's just wasn't an occasion to strut them aside from going to the beaches and strolling the city. So I created an occasion and that was for hubby's birthday dinner in a restaurant. He's my photographer most of the time and he normally checks if I dress appropriately. But for his special day he can't say no if I dress like this :)
I recently added a faux fur vest in my closet just because they look fab and really give you warmth. It's just tricky sometimes how to wear it but this red vest is a thin kind as it's only a striped fur. Still I donned something body hugging to give me longer silhouette. Fur vest instead of a full-on fur coat is best for semi cold temperature and since we are heading towards the end of winter this is the perfect cold weather warmer.
Unfortunately, the servings in the restaurant were a smaller portion which was good enough for me but not for my significant other. So we did what we had to do, went next door and ordered for a take-away. It's me who can't say no this time after all it's his special day, remember? While waiting for the food I found this stripes neon pole which belonged to a barber shop. I got to do what I had to do and that's to take a photo next to it. The stripes just blended well with my red stripes skirt, isn't it cute :)
If there's one thing I can't forget from that restaurant where we dined-in, it's their chocolate pudding. It's gooey, yummy and huge a complete opposite to their meal serving size. So that's where I'd like to end this post, on a sweet note :)
